Our beautiful city Krakow can be easily reached by air. Krakow Airport host almost 50 regular connections to 44 airports in 15 countries.
Krakow Airport is the largest regional airport in Poland. It is located in the south of Poland, 11 km west of Krakow in the village of Balice.
Krakow Airport is equipped with the ILS, NDB, and DVOR navigation systems. In the direction 25, an ALPA-ATA cat. II approach lighting system with flashing lights installed. In the direction 07, there is a simplified IDMAN approach lighting system. The airport apron equals 90,000 m2 and provides space for 17 aircraft, including one the B-747 stand. In accordance with the ICAO standards, the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting services provide Category Eight in terms of airport rescue and fire fighting protection.
This year the airport celebrates it’s 50th anniversary.

Krakow Airport Taxi can be booked on-line or by phone (+48 12 258 0 258). One way transfer to centrally located hotel cost aprox 70-90 PLN.
Krakow Airport is served by two regular bus lines: 208 and 292 and one night line: 902. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines or from the bus driver. Single ticket cost 4 PLN (the ticket must be validated when getting on the bus). Please be aware bus lines are also used by locals to commute and can be crowded during peak hours.
Due to the beginning of modernisation works, shuttle trains from Krakow Airport to the Krakow City Center are suspended.
