SPA Swoszowice – Is the one of the oldest in Poland and one of the few in Europe located by a large urban agglomeration. Based in Krakow, it has existed since 1811 and during the Middle Ages they used the sulphide water which flows here for health purposes. The unique, highly mineralized sulfide is one of the best water treatment facilities in Europe. Based on available natural resources SPA specializes in the treatment and prevention of diseases: rheumatologic, traumatic musculoskeletal system, postoperative locomotor, some neurological and dermatological conditions.
