The rural areas of south-eastern Małopolska are famous for clean air and water, and many of the local farms boast organic certificates. The taste, aroma, and colour of local vegetables, fruits, honeys, cheeses, and milk are long retained in the memory. That’s why we are inviting you for an exceptional gourmet adventure!
We begin the day with a visit at a farm near Dobczyce, famous for its own cold cuts, cheeses, and wine. We will participate in bread baking workshop in the farm’s oven. Still hot, it will be yours to eat with home-made butter and cheese, accompanied by delicious wine and cider.
The next stop is Nowy Sącz, where we will go back in time to the 19th-century Galicia, thanks to visits to the Galician Town. The Market Square, Town Hall, Tavern, and burgher houses were faithfully recreated to render the climate of the days of Empress Sisi. We will also meet the Beans Lady – Pani Janina, who will teach how to conjure pierogi, pates, and cakes from Piękny Jaś beans (a traditional product with a Protected Designation of Origin certificate) with the taste so surprising that you simply cannot guess that it is beans that makes the main ingredient.
